Story

I am running a Half marathon- by proxy! The lovely Lianne has very kindly offered to do the actual running so I am just raising the money.

Wellness with a Goal (WWAG) is a mental health charity supporting clients aged between 18 and 65 who suffer with mental illness or who want to improve their mental wellbeing. We currently cover Elmbridge and Spelthorne.

To many of our clients WWAG provides a lifeline in the form of social groups and personal development courses.

We provide two weekly coffee mornings/afternoons, a subsidised meal every Saturday as well as a daily drop in service for clients to come into the office just to have a cup of tea and a chat. For many clients these activities provide part of limited or their only social interactions.

We also run groups and workshops including our monthly quiz and "Writing for fun" our creative writing group. We offer mindfulness and meditation courses and workshops, Yoga and our extremely popular art classes.

On top of all of this we host a CAB clinic, computer courses and various workshops to help improve our clients' mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

By sponsoring us you will be helping to provide these vital services to those who rely on them and help us to reach more people in need of support.

See www.wellnesswithagoal.org.uk for more information and details of our services.
