In our Mums memory, we would like to raise money to buy Willen Hospice a second cuddle bed.

£15,000 is the goal!

Yes this is a big number, but it is going towards something that could help a lot of families.

Mum always said that Willen was a place where she felt safe and looked after, her family felt this too. The care they provide for not only the patient but also families is amazing!

Mum was so fortunate to be able to use a “cuddle bed”. This is an extendable hospital bed which allowed my sisters and I to cuddle mum, be in bed with mum, watch movies and make memories. These special moments continued to the end where we were able to be by mums side, holding her hands and cuddling.

Unfortunately there is only one cuddle bed at Willen. We were fortunate enough to have use of this for as long as we needed - however this meant that another family had to go without.

We will be planning a number of funding raising events, as a family, during 2024 and beyond ... we are absolutely determined we will meet this target and we will be so honoured to buy this second bed in Mums memory.
