I've raised £300 to help give something back to St John’s Hospice. My Ellie will be climbing/walking Warton Crag in Carnforth/Lancashire with my friend.

St John’s Hospice cared for my mum when she was terminally ill and until she saw her final day. The support and dignity the hospice gave to my mum was incredible. They didnt just support my mum but all of our family. Even now and Until your in such a situation you never know how valuable these people are and just how much they touch your life. The effort they go to and the kindness and compassion they show. These people are so special.
what a lot of people dont know is that most hospices are completely reliant on fundrsising- it seems completely barbaric to me that something so neseccary isnt government funded. Which is why fundraising is so crucial. We were told at the hospice that to keep it open it coats £10,000 a DAY!!! so as you can imagine every single penny counts.
My Ellie would like to give a little something back and so my friend has kindly offered to do a sponsored walk/climb with her up Warton crag in Carnforth Lancaster to try and raise £300 for the hospice. she will be climbing on 01/12/2018 and wearing her St Johns Tshirt with pride. :)
This means an awful lot to Ellie to be able to help the hospice so any donations would be so gratefully appreciated.
