Story
We're a group of students who are taking part in a course called NCS. The course is for 15 - 17 year olds and is 4 weeks worth of fun and exciting activities which often takes people out of their comfort zones and aids them to build personal skills which can help them in later life situations. NCS teaches us how to manage money and spend it wisely, this will help us with how to manage events like fundraising activities.
The forth week of the course includes a social action plan which we must raise our own money for. As Foxtrot 1, we have chosen to do our action plan at St Walburga's Catholic Primary School in Bournemouth. The school currently has 480 students, however despite its large size, one of the schools strengths is it's family atmosphere. The school is very fortunate in the fact it has its very own quiet area for the children to go and sit, it is also a great place for them to watch the wildlife that enters the garden.
Unfortunately, the area is in need of some TLC and they would like it to be transformed back to beauty. By Foxtrot 1 helping with this project, we will be enabling the children that attend the school to have a quiet space to enjoy the sights and sounds of the garden and be able to watch the wildlife that enters the space again. It has something for everyone as will be lots of fun to do.
We hope to really make a difference to these many school children by raising as much money as possible but we need your donations.
