Dear Community,

As most of you will remember on April 30th 2025 James Cook(Cookie) was viciously murdered after being stabbed to Death.

Since then, there have been several other stabbings in our community and this is something that is getting out of control!

Now, as a family we have decided to do a sponsored walk up Snowdonia which will take place On September the 14th 2025!

We are hoping that with the help of our local community we can raise enough money to hopefully provide Newark with some much needed Bleed Kits.

What is a BLEED CONTROL KIT?

A bleed control kit is a specialized first aid kit designed to manage life-threatening bleeding from traumatic injuries, often before professional medical help arrives. These kits contain essential equipment like tourniquets, haemostatic dressings, and trauma dressings, enabling individuals to quickly and effectively stop severe blood loss.

Why are BLEED CONTROL KITS IMPORTANT?

Bleed control kits are crucial in situations where rapid blood loss can be fatal, such as in cases of severe lacerations, gunshot wounds, or accidents resulting in significant trauma. Having these kits readily available in public spaces, workplaces, and other high-risk areas can significantly increase the chances of survival by providing immediate and effective first aid before emergency services arrive.

We are asking everyone to please help support a really good cause in helping us provide our community with these much needed Bleed Control Kits! Hopefully no one has to endure what we, Cookie’s family are having to go through!

These Bleed Control Kits will be placed within the community where the public will be able to access them should the need ever arise and hopefully save a life!
