Wheelie Me!

Ellie is 16 years old and has severe Crohn’s disease, and currently spent 16months in hospital. Alongside complex health issues. Unable to stand or walk at the moment. But hoping to get involved in wcmx when discharged. And to push further without as much fatigue and pain. But hasnt got the right wheelchair to help this. currently using a wheelchair from wheelchair services. But it is far to heavy to push for long distances. And isnt correct for height etc.

When discharged this will significantly hold Ellie back. And leave her unable to socialise with friends and family. All of Ellie‘s life shes been held back. From limitations due to illness, beyond her control. This is a limitation which can be improved with your help. Due to poor design of my current wheelchair. Shes had many injury’s. one causing long term damage to her wrist. Any donation big or small, helps Ellie get her life back. After spending so much of it in hospital. And fundraising for children’s wards and hospitals. And being a community champion ambassador for Crohn’s and colitis uk after raising over £8000. Even whilst in hospital! Having the right wheelchair means I can continue this work. And get to do more artwork. Because Ellie is not her illness! Thank you so much 😊
