2 and a half years ago I became a victim of sexual abuse. Although the conversation about sexual abuse is being discussed and heard more, the aftermath of sexual abuse and the physical and mental effects that it has is ignored. There simply isn't a voice for it. When I was going through this, i felt as if i had no one to talk to, and even if i did have someone to talk to, i still didn't want to talk because i felt that no one would understand. Thankfully, i had therapy on my side and came out of all of it winning. And i want every other sexual abuse victim to be able to have the help and support to be able to do the same. I want to raise the volume of the voice!! Therefore, I am raising money to be able to give to charities that work alongside sexual abuse victims and also to charities that help with mental health issues. Together, we can be THE VOICE!
