Eleanor Shipton, Mummy to Amelia and Rupert (year 1), sadly lost her battle with breast cancer in July this year.

Eleanor had spoken about a Buddy Bench for the infant playground. The purpose of this would be to provide our children with a place to go if they need a friend or reconcile differences after a quarrel.

The bench is to be a positive place for children to go, where new friendships can blossom and differences be resolved.

Eleanor's attitude was always towards fun, love and positivity. So this seems like the perfect addition for the playground in our children's school in Eleanors' honour and memory.
