I have chosen to undertake a two year programme with an organisation called ‘World Challenge’ which will culminate in an incredibly exciting four week expedition to Malaysia and Borneo. The expedition will take place in the summer of 2019 and will involve trekking through the jungles, spending some time taking in the scenery and culture as well as contributing to a community project.

One of the main elements of the expedition is the community based project where I will live and interact with local communities, contributing positively via teaching, painting murals and helping rebuild playgrounds. I may also get involved with an environmental project which could involve carrying out trail maintenance as well as helping to create vital eco tourism facilities and conservation projects.
