Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
On the 22nd of October, I'll be running the 'Tough 10' - as tough as it sounds! This will be for the MCF, a wonderful charity - more details below.
Thank you for your support.
Their Community Support grants for charities help people experiencing poverty and disadvantage, sickness and disability or barriers to education and employment.
The charities they support make a significant and lasting difference to thousands of people in need and further those causes about which Freemasons and their families are most concerned.
In 2015, around £4.5m was awarded to support charities across England and Wales.
Their Our Medical and Social Research grants fund basic, clinical and epidemiological research projects that aim to improve knowledge, treatment and services for those with illnesses or disabilities.
In 2015, they awarded £1.5 million to medical research.
Hospices provide care in an environment that feels more like a home than a hospital. Individual-centred care is provided which is suited to the person who is approaching the end of life, in a gentle and calm atmosphere.
In recent years, they have donated nearly £12 million towards the operating costs of hospice services across England and Wales.
