Story
I am hiking up mount Snowden on Friday 17th August, to raise money for the Snowdrop unit at Wythenshawe hospital. The money raised will help fund additional private rooms and equipment that support parents who have given birth to stillborn babies.
In November 2017 the Snowdrop unit supported my wife and I through the traumatic experience of delivering our stillborn daughter Arla Rose Quibell. The unit allows parents to have private rooms and access to state of the art equipment, that allows parents to spend time with their babies. We also received counselling through the Snowdrop unit that helped in the months following Arla's birth. We have been forever grateful for all the staff on the Snowdrop unit and want to raise money on their behalf, so other parents who go through what we did, get the right level of privacy and care throughout their difficult period.
