I am 16 years of age and I am fundraising to pay to go on an expedition to Zambia and Botswana in the summer of 2018. I am a pupil of Radyr Comprehensive School in Cardiff, South Wales.

The expedition is 28 days long and is being carried out through Outlook Expeditions.

The whole group are working on ways to fund raise the money such as sponsored runs, raffles etc., but there is a limit to how much money that can generate..

As part of the expedition we will be spending 6 days helping with the Mwandi project, where we will build a traditional mud hut with an iron roof sheets to shelter some of the most vulnerable people in the community, including elderly grandparents, AIDS sufferers, the disabled and people who have been abandoned/neglected by their family.

This is a chance for me and my fellow pupils to go on a journey of a lifetime, we will be helping the locals in an eye opening experience, where we can make a real difference to their lives, and travelling around Zambia and Botswana on a life changing journey.

Any and all donations are welcome and will all go towards helping to cover the cost of all things required for the trip including any necessary equipment and inoculations. All donations of any size are very welcome.
