Hi I'm Eloise,

I've been selected as one of 117 Scouts (14-18) to represent Essex as part of a 4000 strong UK contingent to go to the World Scout Jamboree, North America, in 2019. The Jamboree is being held at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, Mount Hope, West Virginia, USA. I've been in Scouting since I was 6 years old and thoroughly enjoyed my experiences, such as going to France and Italy. I am an Explorer Scout and Young Leader at 1st Braintree Scout Group, This is my way to give back to the group which gave me so much and helped me to develop. For the trip I need to raise £3800. This cost includes Accommodation for three weeks, Food, Transport, Uniform, Equipment, Activities and a subsidiary for young people from less developed countries to experience the magic of a World Scout Jamboree.

I intend to do a lot of fundraising events such as a Quiz night, coffee mornings, etc. Any money you can give will be greatly appreciated. My main reason for setting up this page is so if you are unable to come to one of my fundraising events, this is a way to give.

This will be a life changing experience for me as it'll complete my personal journey in Scouting and give me experiences that I can take forward into my life.
