With my own fundraising and the help of you I will be able to join camps international on a month long volunteer trip to Tanzania. This trip is not only beneficial for my personal development, helping raise my confidence and encouraging me to build relationships and friendships but most importantly it aids the local Tanzanian communities.
I will be helping communities by joining in with the current on going large scale projects such as removing waste from the coast line to help marine life. I will also be involved with small scale projects such as constructing vitally needed community housing using local materials and installing new water facilities to provide fresh drinking water. Whilst I do get some down time I am there to make a big difference and I hope this will be life-changing for people and continue to be so for years to come.
This volunteering expedition has been coordinated by Camps International and my school. Funds raised will pay for flights, accommodation, health insurance and everything to ensure my safety whilst there so I can concentrate my efforts on making a difference to the people of Tanzania.
