    Story

Eloise was diagnosed with cancer xmas 2015. She just turned 9. we cant explain the feeling to be told your child has cancer. We were told from the start that with her leukaemia Eloise would be up against it. Her only chance would be a bone marrow transplant. Eloise has 2 younger sisters, Erin & Evie. Evie, just 3, was to be her big sisters doner. Eloise had 3 failed chemo cycles before scrapping through on the 4th. She then endured 2 months of pain & isolation through transplant. The next 2 years came with several complications inc Osteoporosis, skin biopsies etc.
By April 2018 Eloise was cancer free. She had beaten the odds & she was determined to get her life back.
May this year Eloise became unwell & very quickly we had the devastating news that Eloise's cancer was back. Our family was to be torn apart again. We were told that standard treatment would not be an option & the only options were trial based treatments.
This inc the possibility of trials in the states. The past 3 months have been hell for Eloise and she has endured so much inc 2 lots of sepsis and a life threatening lung infection requiring half her right lung to be removed. During this time we have had the most difficult conversations any parent could have.
As it stands we are on a trial run by GOSH but are unsure of success or if not, what other options are available.
We have come to realise we cant do this on our own & we cant leave it too late so have decided to set up this page. We have several uses for any funds donated.
1st: for any treatment options if this trial is unsuccessful. E.g We know that treatment in the states is gonna be way more than our original target.
2nd: what ever the outcome, to give Eloise back so much of the childhood she has lost these past 4 years.
3rd: If the unthinkable should happen then to help Erin and Evie through that time.
Eloise is the most amazing unique person. Never complaining & always greatful for everything. She touches everyone she meets.

Hello all Firstly thank you so much for your donations and support. Friday afternoon Eloise started a radiotherapy trial. Amazingly she is only the 9th child to ever have this new treatment & the first ever with her type of cancer, pro T - cell ALL. We are praying this will put her in a good place to get to transplant but have no idea of the outcome. It's hard as she will be highly radioactive for a while making her day to day life hard being shut in a lead lined room. She is beyond brave.!!! Thank you so much and please continue to share.
