Hello everyone. Very exciting news; the bench and plaque are in place at the south side of the bigger lake. We will be having a get-together at the bench on Sunday 6 January at midday so, please come along and raise a glass of prosecco to Elona. There is £60 left over which we have decided to donate to an owl charity. Elona's other passion after dogs was owls, so we thought this would be a very fitting cause. Thank you again for all your kind donations, and we look forward to seeing you on 6 January.

Hello Everyone. Thank you so much for your kind donations. As you can see we have raised an amazing £1,025. We have arranged with Hackney Council for a new bench to be installed on the south side of the bigger lake in Clissold Park as this was one of Elona's favourite places to sit. We will also get a plaque with some suitable words for the bench. I am going to close this page in the next day or so and withdraw the funds so that I can pay the council for the bench. Any left over funds will be donated to a dogs' charity to be decided.
