I've raised £600 to help raise funds for Leontienhuis

Dear Everyone,
Today I'm writing this post to tell you a little bit of my long life story...
But first, I would like to say that I am so happy and proud to be part of this inspiring & meaningful way of giving back to a charity that deserves all the help & support in the world. Therefore, I have decided to raise money for this charity by starting to run a half marathon (in March 2019). This is the first of many events I will be involved in to raise funds for this incredible charity.
I'm so grateful for the help Leontienhuis's members have provided. It's a non-profit organisation based in The Netherlands, run for struggling eating disorders patients. Owned & founded by an anorexic surviver. Admirable! <3
In a nutshell... My sister has now been very ill for about 13 years. Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses. It’s important to remember that they are not all about food itself, but about feelings. Hence very misunderstood and not spoken about enough out there.
But structures like this make & have made a massive impact on the members/patients. Even if just a little help for people who need it, it's still vital support.
My sister is still struggling as I speak but trying her best to be on the right path. Remembering all the people/structures who are supporting her & who have (like Leonthienhuis) <3
Any contributions will be a massive help and I'll be more than grateful for that. If anybody has any questions about the charity or events I would be participating in, please don't hesitate to drop me a message/ comment.
Updates & pictures will follow after any events :)
With Love,
Elsa x
