I've raised £2000 to Fund Elsa's Meserani trip to Tanzania and the Meserani Project - a charity providing and supporting education in East Africa

On June 11th I will undertake a sponsored Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, hopefully completing this arduous 24 mile route, with 4531feet of ascent, within 12 hours. This is to raise funds for a 3 week school trip I'm joining in July with the Meserani Project.
Elsa has now completed her challenge. She completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks today in an impressive 9 hours 48 minutes.
The Meserani Project is a small charity providing primary, secondary, further and higher education for young people in East Africa, where such education opportunities are not easily accessible.
In Tanzania we will be providing lessons for school children, organising a primary school sports day and buying necessary school supplies with fundraised money, whilst camping in different locations. Talking to local students will be an amazing horizon broadening experience.
We will also be going on several safaris and hopefully see some amazing animals.
So far this year, as well as training for my Y3P challenge, I've raised money by taking a job at a local cafe, organising a dinner party for 12 and helping to run Meserani craft stalls at local fairs.
40% of this fundraising will go straight to the Meserani Project with the rest going towards my trip costs. All funds after my costs will also go to the Meserani Project.
