Story

On 15th march 2022 we had our first child, Elsie. Elsie was born with a heart defect(hlhs and unbalanced avsd) and despite the best efforts of Birmingham childrens hospital, she passed away on the March 20th. Ruth and i were obviously devastated but received so much help and support from friends and family.

We had so many donations and people offering to help we thought we could donate the money to ward 11 at Birmingham childrens hospital. After a short conversation with the ward we decided the best way to help them was to buy physical items and give them to the little families that cameessentialsthi on to the ward. And so the Elsie box was born!

The box contains daily easentials like nappies; babygrow, a knitted hat and blanket, as well as thjngs for the parents like puzzle books, pads, pens and a toothbrush!

this is one way to keep Elsie’s legacy alive And we hope to continue. We really appreciate all the donations and if you would like to help Elsie continue to help other little families please donate. Thank you x
