On Friday 11th September 2026 is our son Ely’s 6th Birthday, Sadly on February 2nd 2024 Ely passed away after a brave and mighty 15th month fight against an Aggressive Grade 4 Tumour called ETMR - Embryonal Tumour with Multilayered Rosettes.
Ely was such a character, he was known and loved by so many for his cheeky smile and outlook on things, which were all of his own making. As soon as we received Ely’s diagnosis something incredible and amazing happened!!!!!
Ely’s Army!!!
Ely’s Army started to gather!!!! and WOW!!! what an Army we have had!!!
Family and friends, friends of friends, companies/businesses, charities/organisations, sporting communities, people who didn't even know us joined!!
We are Forever Grateful to you all!! Ely’s Army has helped us through all our toughest times.
During our journey with Ely we had so much help and support from lots of people and small charities and organisations, Which we formed close relationships with them all. This is why we are continuing with Ely’s Army in raising funds to help all those who helped us along the way.
So on Friday 11th September 2026 with our Hosts for the Third year!! The Nags Head Inn at Bradfield starting from 4pm we are organising - Ely’s Jam Around The Dam - Celebrating Ely’s 6th Birthday with a Fun and Colourful Walk around Dam Flask finishing at the Nags Head with the fantastic Northern Lights Band to bring the party!!
We are raising funds to be divided equally between THERAPY HUSKIES, PACT SHEFFIELD and SHEFFIELD HAWKS ARLFC
