Thank you for visiting this crowdfunding web site.

It may be a bit unusual to rise funds for organisation based in Poland, however being highly motivated by my 13 years old nephew story I decided to set an account and rise the money for a good cause. Please, feel free to find out more below.

During one of my home visits I was chatting to my nephew, a member of The Polish Scouting and Guiding Association, ZHP (ZHP.PL ) and found out that his local Scouting group (Hufiec ZHP Ziemi Cieszyńskiej-ZHP local ) needs money to pay for the Fire Risk Assessment to be performed in order to determine the fire safety of their summer camp. Such assessment can only be performed by authorised, certified national bodies which of course implies a huge cost.

Due to my profession (process engineer) I do have an understanding of immense importance of safety. I simply hate the idea that the lack of finance might be preventing those young, enthusiastic boys and girls enjoy their unique, challenging experiences due to loosing the right of use of the summer camp.

Challenge and adventure was always a part of the scouting philosophy (worldwide I believe); therefore I decided to set my own adventure to support the money rising.

Just before my return to home country I am going to Scotland for few days at the end of April and I do intend to climb the lovely Ben Nevis, solo. For those who are familiar with the Scottish weather, will understand the challenging part of of the adventure:).Nevertheless. Come rain or shine! (and gusty winds and probably snow on top).
