We are planning a trip to Bournemouth beach for our women and children, whom are staying within the refuge. The women have never had the opportunity to go away on a day trip let alone a holiday due the domestic abuse they and their children have suffered. We want to ensure they have at least one opportunity to experience the Beach for the day as we have no idea when they may get another opportunity. As we have been fortunate enough to get a bit of sun in past month, we hope to have the trip on the 16th August and therefore have very little time to collect any funds. Many of our residents are yet to receive benefit entitlements and are reliant on food bank to get by so do not even have money for food and daily expenses at present. We would hate to have to cancel this trip and would appreciate any support you can provide.
