Story

I feel honored to announce that on the 31st of August I will be taking part in the race for life cancer research challenge, in memory of the beautiful angel Jessica Jayde Allen💛✨

In April of 2017 Jessica gained her angel wings after fighting a brave battle with a rare form of cancer called ewing's sarcoma. Jessica battled for a total of 6 years with the final 20 months sadly being terminal. For those of you that know Jessica, will already know that she inspired so many people with her beautiful heart, her fighting spirit & fierce determination.

Throughout Jessica's battle she continued to worked passionately as an online advocate, after creating her powerful blog: ‘A Little Touch Of Hope’ #positivityalways. Jessica had the courage to share her own story and experiences in order to support and inspire others. The blog was also used as a safe place for readers to express their feelings and Jessica offered personal 1-1 support for those in need. Jessica's most important message is: #positivityalways she promoted this message by showing others her strength throughout every struggle she faced, she explained the importance of speaking about how we truly feel and also remaining grateful, hopeful and positive despite what life brings.

Jessica's dedication to her blog enabled her to help hundreds of readers; children, teeangers and adults including; cancer patients, individuals with mental health struggles & those with chronic illnesses. Jessica brought comfort, positivity and strength to so many people and she became an important role model and inspiration to her readers.

Jessica's family and I know that she would like to continue providing this comfort for everybody, so for this reason we want to dedicate a memorial bench in the Brighton City cemetery close to Jessica's forever bed. We want people that love Jess to use this memorial bench as a place to feel close to Jessica and find peace if they are ever facing any difficulties.

We would be so grateful if you could sponsor my run by making a small donation, the funds will go towards the purchase of the memorial bench for Jessica. Any money left over will be donated to the CLIC Sargent Charity who worked hard to help Jessica & her family. Xxx
