Story

You might not have met, or even know Storm, but like myself, I am sure you will be compelled to help when you learn what she and her family have been through, how she has defied the odds she was given and what happiness she brings to the lives of those around her.

Storm was born with a rare genetic condition called Miller-Dieker Syndrome. in short, this means she has little mobility, limited communication and suffers from uncontrollable seizures. However, she is clearly a very happy, determined child who has shown that whatever the struggles she can smile through.

Take a look at this video to understand more about Storms story:

In talking to Storms family I have learnt that it is not one single item that will help Storm, there are several things she needs or they would like for her to improve day to day living. Her mum is currently fundraising for an accessible garden, to allow Storm to enjoy being outdoors more. Other items on the list include a walker, fire exits and a motorised wheel chair. These items are expensive and would not be funded by the NHS, so your contribution would be a real help to this inspirational family.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I hope that you will join me in this findraising effort.
