Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I felt compelled to set this page up after hearing and witnessing the current situation of people in Bangladesh including family and friends.
Recent heavy rainfall in Bangladesh has left thousands trapped in the flooding across the country. The low lying areas are entirely under water. Thousands of homes have been washed away and families are stranded on higher grounds.
The rain has caused the riverbanks to burst submerging houses and blocking roads. A lot of people have been killed through the unexpected flash flood, landslides and buried under collapsing walls.
The present situation is critical there is limited food and the only the contaminated flood water to drink. Support is also required to help people rebuild their house.
So far we have sent £400 raised through friends and family. However, more help is needed to help people rebuild their lives.
I hope you can all donate generously and thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
