Hi everyone, it’s Emily here. I’m so sorry to say that I have some extremely sad news. On Thursday 23rd Jan our incredible Entertainer Amy James affectionately known by most as ‘Crazy Amy’, suddenly passed away.

For all of us at Ruby Doo, losing Amy is insurmountable. We don’t have many words at the moment, as you can imagine, other than to say that we are utterly heartbroken.

However the thought of Paul and Jesse continuing their lives without Amy is unimaginable and we want to help them as much as we can, with both living expenses and to ensure that Jesse does go on their dream family holiday to Walt Disney World, one of the last conversations some of Amy’s friends had with her! 🥹

We are all in a state of shock and upset as you can imagine, but we want to pay tribute to our beautiful, funny, energetic, creative and kind Amy. She was an amazing friend to us all, a mentor to our younger staff, our TikTok queen, a brilliant role model and we are all bereft without her. She was my right arm in business and I’m not sure how to do life without her.

Her work ethic, creativity, passion and energy will be irreplaceable. She hosted thousands of parties, hundreds of events, charity events and toddler/baby time sessions nothing was ever too much.

In the words of Amy ‘No problems only solutions’ and ‘The show will go on’ so please help us find a solution and keep Amy’s show going for her beautiful boy 🐝🌟❤️
