What is crowdfunding?

Story
I am planning to study aboard within my spring semester at University of Roehampton. I am currently undertaking a sociology degree and in my second year.I have been accepted into Suffolk Universit in Boston and hope to travel around the East Coast. I am looking to go into career within human rights primarily UNICEF. I am hoping this experience will help me to understand human/children rights on a more global scale
