Story

We are trying to raise money to help Charlie who is a 9 year old boy with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. We are running a 10K in Gateshead on the 8th July 2018 to help raise funds for equipment which will enable Charlie to live a more independent life. Charlie is a bright and funny little boy with three younger brothers and lives a very busy family life. The equipment we are trying to raise money for is called a "neater eater" and would enable Charlie to enjoy meal times unaided with his family. At 9 years old Charlie is eager to be doing things by himself making meal times very frustrating. With the help of this equipment we would be enabling Charlie to enjoy meal time and gain some independence by allowing him to feed himself.
