Story

Hello friends,

I'm running the London Marathon on April 27, 2025!

I will be fulfilling a life-long dream by running those iconic 26.2 miles, and even better, just when the going gets tough (mile 13), I'll run through Bermondsey over Tower Bridge, the area I represent as a Labour Party councillor. Please come say hello :)

As I'll be running as part of the Mayor of Southwark's team, I am raising money for three charities the Mayor has designated for support in 2024-25. Please see details below.

A huge thanks in advance to anyone that can support me. I'm hugely grateful for anything you can donate.

Wish me luck!

Emily

________

I'm raising £2000 to be split equally between:

ActionAid - the international charity that works around the world to respond to emergencies, end violence, fight poverty and protect the rights of women & girls.

SpeakerBox - the Children in Care Council for Southwark (South London), who run brilliant events and create opportunities for young people in care and leaving care.

Ballers Academy - which provides high-quality football, multi-sports, and mentoring programmes to 1000 young people in Southwark weekly, addressing inequality and creating pathways for personal development, health improvement, and employment.
