I'm raising money to help my partner get his music out there as a surprise for his birthday.

As we make very little money by the end of week 2 out of the month we are normally unable to pay off anything needed, we both make very, very little and we have a lot of struggles. I don't care about the money, I care about his happiness and want him to be as happy as he is in the short amount of time he is when his little boy is over.

He wants to make music that everyone in our position can relate to yet the songs make them happy, it's an odd one but the music is very emotional and you can look at it as this song is really amazing or... This song speaks so truly, the music he writes is amazing, it's eye opening to people that may just look at someone in our position and think we could do more but they don't know the story. I met him a few months after had became homeless, he was living in a really bad place and needed out, just over a year ago he got his own flat then not long after I moved in with him out of my parents place to try help him, little did we know things kept getting worse, we worked as hard as possible but we both have things that stop us from time to time and it really can't be helped, we have the flat, just enough money to feed ourselves just too little for enough electric so we can put the heating and hot water on and that's us both working non stop.

He wants his music to be heard not for the fame or money but to show the light on people that think we do things the way we do because we're lazy witch is really not the case, it's because there's not much else we can do to get better. We had a lot of family and friends telling us places we're hiring but we had applied months in advance and never heard anything or we don't have the right experience/qualifications, We try everything in our power just to survive and I may be happy slaving away day in day out but I see it in his eyes how upset he is that his music is being written but not recorded or produced.

The way he feels about music is amazing, I don't think I've ever met someone who cares so much about writing songs and is working as hard as him, I just want everyone to see how much he deserves this dream to be real life as he doesn't want it for the fame or money, he wants it so he can make a difference and help people less fortunate than ourselves!
