**Zumba Fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK**

On Sunday 28th June at 10:00am, we will be holding a charity Zumba event at Planet Fitness Tredegar to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.

In 2025, our daughter was born with a giant omphalocele (known as exomphalos major in the UK) where the majority of her organs grew outside of her body, in her umbilical cord and spent the first three months of her life in NICU at UHW, Cardiff. During one of the most difficult times our family has faced, Ronald McDonald House Charities provided us with a place to stay close to our daughter, allowing us to be there for her every day without the added worry of accommodation and getting back and forth to her at crucial and frightening times.

Their support meant more than we can ever put into words. They gave us a safe, welcoming “home away from home” when we needed it most and for that we will always be grateful ❤️💛

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free accommodation and support to families with children in hospital, helping them stay close to their child during treatment and reducing some of the stress that comes with a hospital stay. Their Houses offer much more than a bed for the night… They provide comfort, support and a sense of normality during incredibly challenging times.

This fundraiser is our way of giving something back and helping other families receive the same support that helped us through our journey, with Journey 👶🏽
