I've raised £900 to help Emily Pugh get to Tanzania for her midwifery placement next August!!

Help send Emily to Tanzania!!
I am currently studying midwifery as some of you may already know. I am currently in my second year and I'm loving every minute of my training. Next August we have to do an elective midwifery placement at a different trust to our current one to gain a wider range of experiences. If I can raise enough funds, I am hoping to go to Dar es salaam in Tanzania (Africa) for 3 weeks. I will spend 2 weeks in a hospital out there gaining experience in midwifery and then a 3rd week in the village providing healthcare and living with an African family.
Whilst I am out there I have the opportunity to gain clinical experience in deliveries and special care, also looking after women at high risk of pre-eclampsia and post-partum hemorrhage. I will be working in healthcare clinics undertaking maternity work, pediatrics, vaccination programmes, malaria treatment and family planning.
This trip would be a once in a lifetime experience and I feel like I can make a massive difference. So far I have raised a massive £1400 and cannot thank everyone enough. Enable Technologies are also sponsoring my fundraising efforts by matching donations. Therefore every donation you make will be automatically DOUBLED until I reach my target. I have £900 left to raise myself. I will be organising a few fundraisers in the near future, one of which will be: a pub card to win an Ipswich town signed match shirt at Christmas. If you can support me in any way and would like to make a donation (no matter how big or small) i will be forever grateful.
Thankyou
