Update: My Dad, Richard Stokes passed away in Clínic Hospital Barcelona on Thursday 17/10/19 at 8pm local time. He was taken seriously ill on holiday in Majorca and his airline refused to take him home. He became so ill that he was airlifted to Barcelona. None of us expected my Dad to die only 4 days later. Myself, my Mum Tracey and Richards sister Catherine were with him through to the end. My Dad died of Type B Large Cell Lymphoma. We all thought he would make it home and receive treatment in The UK. To make matters worse my Parents travel insurance provider are trying to wriggle out of accepting any claim. This has left my Mum already facing bills for hospitals and repatriation of my Dad of more than €25,000! Neither my Mum or Dad wanted me to start this page because it is alien to them to ask for any charity. I have spoken to his close friends who say this is a way for them to express their love for my Dad. So the page stays and I will continue to seek help for my Mum in this way. If anyone make a contribution no matter how small, Bless you and if you’re unable to please help raise awareness instead by sharing my page and story. I will update it regularly so people know latest situation. Right now we wait to hear when my Daddy’s body will be flown home. Thank you so much for helping.

Update: My Daddy’s body is been flown home tomorrow Thursday 24/10/19 finally.

Update 6/11/2019:

My Dads (Richard Stokes) funeral will be held on Tuesday 19th November, 2:20pm at Cottingley followed by a church service at Evangelical church in Beeston at 3:00pm ..
