My daughter is raising money to go on a 3 week expedition to Mongolia. We have set up this page so that friends and family can donate via this JustGiving site if they would like to.

Emily, alongside her extensive list of other fundraising ideas, will be walking 10k in August to help raise the funds. Please see below for more information.

“My name is Emily Parkinson and I am thirteen years old. I have just been accepted to go on a three week expedition to Mongolia in July 2019, which is being organised through my school, Bohunt. It is an opportunity to immerse myself in a remote community and experience local culture, together with a two week journey wild camping and canoeing along a river. I am so excited to take part in this expedition.

In order to go on this trip I need to raise over £3500. I am hoping to raise regular amounts per month to achieve my target. Alongside selling cakes and crafts and organising other events locally throughout the next few months, I will also be walking 10k in August. This will be a personal challenge and I am really hoping for support from my family and friends to encourage me.
