Hi, my name is Emma B and I am a music artist.

I've played classical guitar for 17 years of my life and self taught in acoustic and electric too. I DJ, produce and write my own music. One of my goals is to learn as many instruments as I can! I am currently practising bass, drums, piano and singing.

However, one thing I have always been struggling with that is holding me back in my career is the finances needed to afford lessons, equipment, instruments, studying material etc. I don't come from a rich family, I am from a small village in the south west of the UK in the countryside and my parents are hard working class people who can't support me. I went through a lot of difficult experiences like homelessness that forced me to grow and become who I am today.

I managed to fulfil one of my dreams through a lot of hard work and sacrifices, and was accepted into Point Blank university in London with an unconditional offer. I am in my final year now! This has been really difficult period for me though as I am an independent student and have to work full-time whilst studying full-time just to cover rent, utility bills and living expenses! This makes it hard to make time to work on my craft, but also to save money for the things I need to excel in my career and make the music that I feel in my heart.

I have vision to succeed in the music industry to the highest level possible, so I can use my success in other ways to bring positivity and changes into all kinds of issues and problems around the world. I have many musical ideas and stories to share, for you to connect to the lyrics or the sound. I want to share a wider perspective, to motivate and allow people to realise their power and strength. To bring more freedom, peace and happiness to the world!

My current focus is saving up towards a Boss loop pedal so I can live-loop and perform all my instruments and music. I also am needing to save up for a DDJ-1000 controller so I can work on the side DJing and create my own events. Additionally I am in need of a condenser microphone, stand and guard. There's plenty more still on the list but these are the most important pieces of equipment needed to be able to create my desired sound and start performing and making a living out of my music.

I have been reluctant for a while to set up this page, as I was determined to succeed without support. However the progress has been slow, and I have begun to realise more over the years how important it is to network, unite, speak up and... reach out.
