Most of you will be aware that we are approaching our biggest fund raiser of the year on the 16th September 2017, it is a FULL UNIT activity for Cadets & Adult Volunteers, this is our only event where we ask for sponsorship. 

As you know (and for those that are new), it’s a wonderful day out where family and friends are all invited along to watch our amazingly talented young people sail, kayak, row, yole and Canoe from Dawn until Dusk - sunrise usually around 06:36 to sunset usually around 19:38 (Cadets are given shifts to attend - though some do attend for the whole day).

We will again have the boat station open to Parents/Guests on the Dawn til Dusk Day and a BBQ and Nutty will be available. Opportunities may arise, for those that wish, to try out some boating activities using our fleet. This is also an opportunity for our new cadets to get a "feel" for what we do in the boating season. It will also be a good opportunity to cheer and support our Dusk til Dawn Teams in achieving their goals.  All friends and family members are welcome to join Please bring cake for us to sell – we're going to need all the energy we can get!

The event takes place on Saturday 16th September (that’s only 4 weeks away!) Attached is the sponsorship form, please look to engage with this now so that you don't have to run around last minute! We are not asking anyone individually to raise a massive amount, but last year we raised a whooping £3,000.00 which was absolutely brilliant, so this year the CHALLENGE is to beat this and try to achieve £4,000.00 (we have 60 cadets). We are sure that our brilliant cadets (and you!) can help make this possible. 

ALL of the funds raised go back to the cadets by way of boating equipment/boats/unit equipment etc.
