Story
Amber is a 4 yr Bullmastiff has injured her back legs in a fall. She has been taking anti inflammatory tablets for 3 months but is unfortunately getting worse. The next step in her treatment is X-rays to see exactly the cause and then surgery if we can raise enough money.
I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (Hypermobility) and I'm hardly able to leave the house. Amber has become my lifeline and sometimes the only friend I talk to all day.
When I have bad days and collapse or fall, Amber has learnt to lie next to me to keep me warm and bark for help. She us an essential part of my life.
Amber is insured but only up to £3000. The vet has told us that it will cost a lot more than that to fix. So although I do not yet know the total amount of money we need to raise, I know that I need to start now in order to help her the best way I can
Please give anything that you can to help my beautiful little girl.

6 years agoAmber today had her appointment with the specialist. He has diagnosed her with a ruptured cruciate ligament. She is due to have surgery on Friday 4th May. We have also been told that her other back knee is going to eventually need the same operation doing, so we need to raise even more money for this future operation. She is currently totally knackered after a long day travelling and the most exercise she's had in ages. Please help as my as possible. Thank you
