Story
As you will know Iain was diagnosed on December 27th last year with cholangiocarcinoma cancer of the bile duct and a tumour in his liver. We have spent a lot of days in ninewells getting Iain’s treatment plan up and running. We have cried, shouted, screamed and complained. Think we used every emotion possible.
Iain is currently having chemotherapy treatments at Ninewells Chemotherapy Day Unit, and has had a daily ritual of meds to blast this horrible disease. Myself, Iain, family and friends want to raise money for the people that have listened and kept things as normal as possible, the chemotherapy cancer day care centre. The money raised will go to the ward so they can buy what is needed for patients fighting cancer to make their time during the long chemotherapy visits more comfortable. Let’s raise money together for people fighting this beast and help them to stay positive.
So please sponsor us to complete The Kilt Walk, The Big Stroll, to raise funds for the chemotherapy day unit in Ninewells. There is a big group of us taking part: Wendy, Emma, Marc, Scott, Gayna, Caroline, Cirst, Nicki, Michelle, and Mark and Allan.
The walk takes place on Sunday 19th August 2018. Please dig deep for this great cause. Thank you very much from our team of walkers.
