Story

The Westwood Academy is a small school located in the South West of the city. In the current financial climate we all know of families who are struggling and for whom life can be challenging and at Christmas this can be even more evident. This is certainly true for some of our pupils, many of whom are growing up in extreme financial hardship and often do not receive the nice things in life that we all take for granted.
We have a very inclusive and caring ethos and we work hard to ensure our pupils get the very best education and start in life that we can give them. As well as funding school trips, uniform and winter coasts for example we are now in our second year of holding a Christmas party and Christmas lunch for a number of our pupils who will not experience a lovely Christmas. Any small donation would be super, or small donations of Christmas presents suitable for our pupils, boys and girls, aged between 11 - 15 years of age. Pyjamas, dressing gowns, hats, gloves and warm socks make lovely gifts, as do toiletries and other small items.
Any funds or presents left over will be donated to other worthy causes within our city. Thank you for your support, we and our pupils really appreciate your kindness.
