Suffering from various ailments (ME/CFS, Long Covid and weight issues), I've embarked on the long road to weight loss (over 5st down already) & health recovery. This includes taking part in the London Marathon 2024! Rather daunting for anyone, especially so for someone in my condition!

I'd like to use the opportunity to raise funds to help my local Scout group to repair their hut (new roof and floor needed) - the 1960s hut is used weekly by over 100 boys and girls from the Marlborough area, and is a huge asset to the community.

I'd also like to raise funds to support the homeless (through charities such as Salvation Army), as no-one should be without a safe roof over their head, especially children.
