Story
Last month, the Afghan Taliban took control of Afghanistan. Whilst a new Taliban government has now been formed, there is still tremendous uncertainty as to what the future holds for the Afghan people. However one thing is clear is that the fighting is forcing people out of their homes and country. As well as many of these families are now stuck somewhere in the country, with no access to safe water, shelter or food.
So I am organising a 24 hour squash challenge at Brackley squash where I will be playing a minimum of 12 hours whilst the rest of Brackley squash club will be making up the other 12 hours.
100% of the money raised will go straight to Afghanaid ( a registered charity); this is a well know charity that give Afghan people a long term income, to help with projects such as chicken farming, so they can eat eggs as well as selling them in the market, strengthen the rights of women and children, help communities protect against natural disasters and adapt to climate change, and respond to humanitarian emergencies. They need this money more then ever now.
