Our beloved class mate Martin Davenport was tragically killed when a tree he was chopping down fell on him just a week into the new year. He leaves behind his 8 year old daughter Isabelle, whom I know was his absolute world!! His excitement to tell me all about her, on a chance meeting in the pub in Tattenhall, shone in bucket loads and has stayed with me always and made me smile when I saw his wonderful updates on her! I always thought I would get the chance to see him again and find out more about how things were going..... how wrong I was! This is a small way to go towards showing Isabelle how much we thought of her dad, I don't know if we still have 100 class mates floating around, or if we can even reach half of those! But i'd like to try so.....Please, if we could each spare £10 (or as much as you can afford) for Izzy, To hopefully give her a little comfort even just for a short while. Having children of my own I just can't imagine what it would be like for them without me or their dad here! Martin will never be forgotten and his death is a reminder of how fragile this life of ours really is! Sleep tight Martin! Love you lots xx
