This summer, a group of 26 of us aged between 16 and 17 will be trekking from Lukla to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. On our return journey we will be spending two days volunteering at Bal Bikas Samaj Secondary School near Kathmandu, teaching the children there. We are raising money to provide essential supplies such as pens and books, as well as raising funds to help repair the school's existing infrastructure and build a new classroom.

I am raising money for this cause by completing a 40 km / 8 hour 'Three Valleys' challenge in the Lake District, that involves kayaking the length of Lake Coniston and Windermere, and hiking the distance in between.
