Sally 32, has four beautiful children and a husband, who love her dearly. She was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in May 2015... Despite Sally's 12 trips to the GPs over the last 3-4 years with obvious signs of this killer disease, she was never sent for further tests, and diagnosed repeatedly with IBS!!
Eventually Sally was admitted to hospital expecting to have a clear out of her bowel. Instead she was given the devastating news she had cancer! Sally's tumour was so big it was fully obstructing her bowel. She had emergency surgery to remove the tumour, a foot of her bowel and is now left with a stoma.
Due to this late diagnosis, many of the treatment options out there are not available to her on the NHS. This is because the NHS will not fund stage 4 cancer patients!
We are now raising as many funds as possible to pay privately. It's a chance for my sister to kick cancer's arse and to be with her family for a long time yet...
