Cleckheaton Christmas Elves aim to bring Christmas spirit to the most vulnerable children and families, in our local community. Provided by the community's kindness Elves and arranged by Cleckheaton’s Christmas Elves.

Already Families budgets are generally overstretched and under pressure at Christmas time. Due to rising costs of living, there are increasing numbers of families in financial poverty, relying on food banks and benefits to make ends meet.

Sadly, a lot of these families don’t feel able to ask for help.

Cleckheaton’s Christmas Elves would like to provide a hamper to families at Christmas to allow these families to enjoy little extra to what they would have managed.

We aim to provide a family Christmas hamper, tailored to the age groups and numbers in each family.

We will be contacting local schools and nurseries as we are hoping to arrange this through them, with a view of ensuring privacy and anonymity for all.

We will then hope to have an extra number of hampers to open up for wider nominations.

We would like to collect a wide range of donations of the following types of items:
Donate to our fund
Christmas Chocolates and sweets
Sweet treats, such as luxury biscuits, mince pies etc
Hot chocolate/marshmallow packs
Small gift surprises for children (age group appropriate), such as crafts and art, books, baby bath toys, small toys such as toy cars
Bath bombs, facecloths, slipper socks for children
Bath and pampering items for adults
Christmas decorations
Any other small treats and gifts appropriate
