Story
In March 2018, Colin and Louise's cousin Emma was killed after she was hit by a drunk driver. She was 21, and just about to graduate from the University of Toronto.
You can read the beautiful obituary her father our uncle wrote here:

We could never remotely have imagined it at the time, but it would turn out that the last time we were all together with Emma was in the picture above, when she stayed with us in London in September 2017 - throwing paint over each other at a Holi celebration at the Horniman Museum. Emma's the one at the back right.
And so it seemed fitting that to help raise funds for the Emma Lisa Antunes Leckey Memorial Award, all the rest of us in the photo (and Louise who was taking it) - ranging in age from 3 to 40 - should sign up for this year's 5km Colour Run on 8 July 2018, in Wembley (Emma was a former Colour Runner herself). The aim is to help set up an endowment of C$50,000, the annual return from which will in perpetuity make a difference in the life of a student each year who has shown leadership at Woodsworth College (Emma's college) or the wider university.
