I've been following the story of Hessa for a couple of years now, and am taken a back by her strength and courage!

4 years ago when she rescued her first dog from Romania, having no idea how much her life would change, and how many lives she would change, for the better!

Behind the success, There's the tragedy's, including Bella who was found in the thick snow with her new born pups frozen to death, Mimi that was found tied up in a bag with her newborn puppies thrown away like trash, her pups died also.

Becca, Hera and Oscar found left on the side of the road at just a few weeks old , they were the only survivors of a litter of 5 pups.

Maria was living in a yard when some men broke in and shot and beat her so badly that they broke her spine, she is now permanently paralysed.

Hessa could not turn her back on these animals and continued to rescue these babies and make them smile again!

The most recent dogs to come to Hessa are Hero and Galbi. Hero was found 3 months ago in the woods with his siblings, he was only 2 months old and was dragging his back legs, he was emaciated and in very poor condition. He was brought to the uk by Hessa to hopefully give him a better quality of life. After a couple of visits to numerous vets the verdict is a total hip replacement and knee surgery , they think he has suffered some kind of trauma (possibly from being kicked) and he will need Hydrotherapy and physio first to try to build up the muscles in his legs that have wasted . All of this is going to cost thousands!

Galbi was found with his front feet in a terrible state, some of his toes were missing and his left foot could not be saved, he only has 2 toes left on his right foot, So amputation isn't an option! What is though, is a prosthetic limb for him to enjoy the rest of his smiley life!

These gorgeous dogs deserve a second chance and a happy one! Hessa is prepared to do the hardwork, if you can help her and donate. Thank you xx
