Weʼve raised £10 to Send me to NZ to sail with injured UK veterans

Funded on Friday, 5th May 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

On Thursday 6th April 2017 I will undertake the 3 Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing Ben Nevis 4409ft, followed by Scafell Pike 3209ft and finally Snowdon 3560ft all within 24hrs.
I am doing this to raise the funds in order to participate in a voyage aboard STS Tenacious, a 213ft Wooden Tall Ship owned by the Jubilee Sailing Trust.
The ship will be manned by a mixed ability crew made up of injured UK veterans and people like myself, and we will sail around New Zealand for 10 days.
I need to raise £3000 for flights and the sail itself, any contributions are a massive help towards my goal.
    Thank you for your support.
