Story

Eveshsm and area has wrlcomed over 100 Ukrainian refugees. These humble people have fled a war and all have experienced trauma. Most dont speak Emglish. Despite promises, not a penny of central gov funding has made its way to Evesham to provide essential support services.

The Ukranian Support hub in market place evesham was created in the hope that the local councils would get involved and pass on centrsl gov funding. Its been made perfectly clear that this will not happen, despite them putting no provision in place.

The support hub orovides English lessons at 3 levels. We also provide counselling , a clothing bank, therapy , craft sessions, help in school applications , job applications. We provide ultra fast broadband and laptops. a sitting room with smart tv, and maybe most importantly translation and interpretors.

To date this has been funded by two hosts but to continue our work at the Tudor Rooms we need money. We fully appreciate that people are struggling themselves and hate having to beg like this.
