Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 7th October I am running The Supersonic 10K run at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival in memory of our daughter, Eryn and all the other angel babies that grew their wings too soon.
A brief story of the loss of our daughter.
We were expecting our first baby at the end of October 2014. I was 40 weeks and 6 days on the 30th of October. I woke up in the morning and didn't feel my daughter move. I knew this was odd and out of character as Eryn had a set routine already.
As my concerns grew I phoned the hospital to get checked. When we got there we went straight in for a scan and were told the dreaded words no mother wants to here "I'm sorry." Eryn had passed away.
We were sent home and told to come back the next day to deliver her.
On the 31st October After a very painful 11 and half hours Eryn was born. She was perfect. Weighing 8 pound 6 ounces and with a full head of thick black hair.
Eryn, my partner and myself spent some time all together, just as a family, as we should have been, before we done the hardest thing we have ever had to do, say goodbye to our beautiful daughter.
After loosing Eryn, each day, hour and minutes were and still are a struggle. The SANDS (stillborn and neonatal deaths) charity have helped me with support meetings, meeting other angel parents and understanding. I would like to raise money as a thank you for their support and to help other families.
There is another charity I would like to donate to, which is Kitty's Dream. Kitty is another angel baby who's mummy I have become friends with since loosing Eryn, Her name is Emma to and has set up her own charity. Emma has done wonderful things in our local hospitals to support other families ,that have also gone through the lost of a child.
Please support me by donating to these charities. Anyone that knows me will know that running isn't my strong point but I have been training hard to do this event in memory of Eryn and the other angels taken too soon. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
So please dig deep and donate now.f
